TinyMoments Privacy Policy
Summary
TinyMoments keeps your photos, videos, voice recordings, diary notes, child profiles, capture dates and optional locations in its local library on your iPhone. No TinyMoments account is required. The local-only version does not upload your library to our servers, run advertising, or include third-party analytics or tracking.
This policy describes the TinyMoments app. Our website has its own, separate practices, described below.
Permissions
- Camera and microphone let you capture moments.
- Location (optional) associates a capture with its location.
- Photos (add only) lets you save copies to Apple Photos.
- Speech recognition (optional) supports on-device note dictation. When on-device recognition is unavailable, you can type instead.
You can change permissions at any time in iPhone Settings.
Sharing and exports
You control exports. Saving or sharing media, notes, child details or an archive transfers copies to the destination you select.
- Archives are not encrypted by TinyMoments.
- The archive exporter offers a location setting. Ordinary original-media sharing can retain embedded metadata.
- Recipients control their own copies.
- Apple Photos exports do not carry the complete TinyMoments diary or child organization.
Backups and deletion
TinyMoments does not operate a backup service. Device backups and storage services you choose, including iCloud Drive, are governed by their providers and your settings. Keep a backup outside this phone.
Deleting the app may remove its local data. Deleted moments remain in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days, with cleanup when the app runs, unless you delete them permanently sooner. Exports and previously shared copies are unaffected by deletion in this app.
Children’s information
TinyMoments is intended for parents and adult caregivers. Child information you enter is retained locally until you change or remove it. Removing a child profile does not delete their media.
If you contact support
If you email support@rigellabsllc.com, Rigel Labs LLC receives your email address and any information you choose to send. We use it only to respond to you, and we keep it only as long as needed to help you. Please do not send private family media unless necessary and explicitly requested.
This website
This website, rigellabsllc.com, is separate from the TinyMoments app, and the two are described separately on purpose. The app does not send your library to this website.
The website has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or cookies. Like most web servers, the server that hosts it automatically records standard access logs: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser’s user-agent. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working, not for advertising or profiling. They are kept for about 14 days and then deleted.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
